Athy Youth Cafe

Following the on going success of the Athy Youth Cafe, and coping with the need to extend our opening hours the management of the Cafe are asking for the public's help with volunteering. We currently have 12 members of the public giving some 6 hours a month which currently covers Fridays only. We wish to extend these hours to Saturdays and Sundays giving the youth of Athy an opportunity mix, have fun and make new friends in a drug and alcohol free environment.

Training courses commence mid to late August and run for one night per week for a period of six weeks. This course which is free will consist of four nights youth leadership training and two nights Child Protection. If you would like to partake in something which can be very self fulfilling , of benefit to Athy and of huge importance to the youth of Athy then please contact Paul Carroll on 085 101 2072, or email athyyouthcafe@gmail.com
