The proposed development is located in close proximity to the INNER RELIEF STREET in the Athy Town Development Plan, and is in close proximity to Emily Square. The proposed access arrangements do not address the existing traffic problems in Athy, therefore the proposed development is considered premature pending the construction of the inner relief street and pending the determination by the Road Authority of the traffic management for Athy and would therefore be contrary to the proper planning and sustainable development of the area. (Athy Town Council - 07/300060).If the Inner Releif Street is taken out of the Town Development Plan, will this not compound the developers traffic problems?  Has anybody thought to ask the planners if this would actually assist with a resubmission? or have I missed something? Do crayfish and otters only reside on this section of the river?  Are they not also found on other sections of the riverbank where planning permission has been granted like Rathstewart? :-)

The Town , WE, need this development, WE need sustainable businesses and jobs, WE need to have a choice of commuting to Dublin for work
