Although moving 3km from the centre of the town Tegral has lodged plans to stay in the Athy area. The €75m investment sees Tegral last week submitting a planning application for production plants for Tegral Building Products and Tegral Metal. The 38 acre site at Srowland could see site work commence this year. Tegral currently employs 369 people and this new move secures the future of the company in the locality.
