This is a busy weekend in Athy with the Labour Party organising a 60’s Showband Night on Valentines Night in the Carlton Abbey. The dance is in memory of the late Cllr Noel Scully who passed away last Christmas 12 months and was no stranger to the dance floor. Should be a great night on Valentine’s especially for the party which displays the rose as a symbol. Dancing 9pm to 1am. Tickets €10 from Jack Walls office.
