Mend and Makedo Theatre Co, begin their 2009 tour of John MacKenna’s new play,
We Once Sang Like Other Men in the coming weeks.
Directed by Marian Brophy, the play is a beautiful retelling of an age old story, a tender, challenging, chilling, provocative tale of one man’s search for salvation amidst the uncertainty of contemporary life.
For Peter, memory steps off a bus in the form of a young woman – bringing with her the things he needs to remember and the things he has tried to forget.
We Once Sang Like Other Men comes from the writing and directing team that brought Who By Fire and Corner Boys to packed houses across the country.
The cast includes Deirdre Donoghue; Anna Marie O’Neill and John MacKenna.
