Freezing fog persisting in parts today, becoming widespread tonight and for a time Monday.
Hazardous with icy conditions and a severe frost throughout. Wintry showers gradually spreading Southwards tomorrow (fresh snow in places), freezing on contact, increasing severity of icy conditions (mainly across Northern half of country)


Fresh snow accumulations of 3 to 10 cm, on Monday , Ulster, North Connacht and North Leinster most at risk, with more over higher ground here. Generally 0 to 5 cm elsewhere, falling later in the day.
