This year the Dominican Community is celebrating its 750th Anniversary of its foundation. They are holding a special Mass on Oct 6th to mark the long association with the town and people of Athy. A civic reception will be held in Town Council offices on Fri evening and a concert of local singers and musicians in the Dominican church on Sun night. All events are free.
