Current Chairperson (Cathaoirleach) of Athy Town Council is Cllr Seán Cunnane with Mary O’Sullivan Vice Chair (Leas Cathaoirleach). In all there are 9 Town Councillors and contact details are available at http://www.athytowncouncil.ie/ . Council meetings are held on the third Wed of every month (except August) and a new Cathaoirleach is elected annually in June.
