Just to let you know what is happening next Saturday 19th at Castlefarm in Kildare for National Organic Week
At midday a free farm walk will take place during which you can collect your own eggs and harvest your own vegetables to take home.
At 1.30 Margaret McDonnell and Peter Young will give a short talk on what exactly organic chicken is and how it is produced.
At 2pm organic food tasting and cookery demonstration will take place. This organic feast includes Ballysax organic chicken, Castlefarm vegetables and salads, Tipperary Organic Icecream (it is made with Castlefarm milk!)
