St. Laurence's Got Talent!



It's the biggest talent show the area has ever staged and it's aimed at anyone from 8 - 108! The date is Saturday, 17th October at St. Laurence's Sports Complex, Oldgrange, starting at 8p.m. Admission to the show is €10 for individuals or €25 for a family.


So who's eligible to enter? Anyone in the St. Laurence's catchment area or anyone who has any sporting associations with the club. It's €10 per single entry with a maximum of €50 for groups of five or more. Singers, dancers, musicians, magicians, jugglers, comedians, actors, actresses, poetry reciters, choirs; we want them all and the closing date is Friday, 2nd October.

Three very well qualified judges will decide on the winners, Ronnatt Ramsay, Public Affairs/Late Late Show RTE, Chris Fingleton, News Coordinator Carlow Nationalist, Sean McGilly, Sean McGilly is a former member of the Jimmy Dunny Band. He has also been a member of the Athy Musical and Dramatic Society, taking lead roles in many productions as well as appearing on the Ed Sullivan Show in the U.S.A. on many a St. Patrick's Day when his beautiful singing voice rang out throughout America from his home in Atlanta.

Prize money is in excess of €1,000 with €500 for the winner.
