Congratulations to the Athy Access Group who last night launched The Athy Accessibility Award & Launch of Athy RAPID’s Accessibility Report. The report outlines the areas in the town which present difficulty to those who have mobility challenges and compliments the work done to make public areas more accessible. The recipient of the Athy Accessibility award was the Ulster Bank for the work which they had done to make their premises more user friendly to those with limits on their mobility. The award was presented by Francis Dalton, Athy’s Olympian. Great to have the wonderful parish hall in Offaly Street.
