SOUTH EAST LAOIS ARTS NETWORK are delighted to announce a series of
4 writing workshops with acclaimed writer John Maher .
John (also known as Jack Barry) has won the Francis McManus Short Story Award, the P.J. O'Connor Radio Play Award, with R.T.E. Radio, the Arts Council of Ireland's premier award, The Lar Cassidy Memorial Award for a novel-in-progress, along with other awards and fellowships. Born in 1954, in Dublin, he lives in Rathdowney, Co.
Laois, guest lectures in the Dept. of Mediterranean Studies in King's College, London and is a tutor at the Irish Writers Centre. He has three children
Workshops ( Prose -fiction - short story -novel ) will commence in St Annes Hall Ballylinan
