Garda Division

Word is that the Garda administrative regions are about to be synchronised with the electoral areas. This autumn the Garda district for this region will be Kildare with the admin centre at the station in Naas. For many years we have been part of the Carlow division and this area will now be associated with Kilkenny. As Naas is farther from the town than Carlow it is expected that additional resources will be awarded to Athy which should be of benefit to all of us
